3rd post today!

Wow, three posts in one day! What am I thinking? I wanted to share with you about my weekend! A few of my friends had a get together on Saturday (girls night). It was lots of fun! Liesl made dinner and then we sat around and talked and even worked out ;) It was a good time with friends!

Of course I can't post my third post with out putting pictures up of my little baby! He is so cute and constantly growing. Oh and some more of my birthday pictures! Friday night my local family (we have lots of family who live out of state) came over and we had dinner (meatball subs, mmm) and cake! Of course since I am on my cake decorating spree I made and decorated my own cake! It was so much fun doing this that I went to Hobby Lobby and bought a cake decorating kit for beginners! I can't wait to use it. And Justin got me this cool cake pan (see target site). I really can't wait to use it! Birthday anyone?

Oh, I tried soy milk for the first time and can I just say "blah", not for me!

Step one: bake cakes, cool cakes, make pudding, put in middle of cakes!

Frost cake (I used a mix that you just had to add cold water too and I really like it!)


Viola! You have a wonderful cake. Oh wait you have to add the chocolate and color some of the icing and write on the cake and then viola you have a wonderful cake! ;)I posted this because I think I looked nice in this picture! Much better than the soy milk photo!

Well it finally happened! I was holding Ian in the air and he spit up on me and yes some when into my mouth! Oh it was nasty too! That stinker, what a goob. Oh, but I still love him!

Let's start our day off with a smile today. I hope this does the trick! I had seen this on quite a few blogs and got such a kick out of it, I had to try it. I was cracking up at what I found. First what you do is , do a Google search for "unfortunately (Your name here)" . Make sure you put the quotes around it. You will be surprised at all the lines you get with your name in it. Some of these are hilarious.

Here a just a few of the ones that came up for my name. My wise cracks are in (___) behind the quotes.

1. Unfortunately, Jessica would regret that decision when one night Marshall forced himself on her. (darn that Marshall)

2. Unfortunately, Jessica’s Law is not. (I didn't know I was trying to get my own law passed!)

3. Unfortunately, Jessica was taken by a nasty chest infection, very unusual for Jess, and was unable to perform on the first night. (Yes, I am a performer! Bet you didn't know that.)

4. Unfortunately, Jessica thought she was so great after The Dukes of Hazard came out, and she thought she could make it on her own. (Well I don't know what The Dukes of Hazard have to do with me being independent but what ever.)

5. Unfortunately, Jessica hates reading, and has a new plan for her future: joining the army. (well I am not a fan of reading, but seeing as I can't make it on my own, the army may not be the right place for me)

6. Unfortunately, Jessica soon returned to movies that bombed, even with Oscar-

winning cast members, like Jamie Foxx. (yep, Jamie and I are BFF's)

7. Unfortunately Jessica and Sydney are both very well-endowed (ok, now this one is true. The next sentence said that in the end they chose Sydney to do the modeling. Poor me)

8. Unfortunately, Jessica's debut album, You Can't Resist, doesn't quite have that "something" to make it stick out. (gees, these people are so critical of my performing!)

9. Unfortunately, Jessica is pregnant with the Duke's daughter. (I just couldn't resist that Duke, he was much cutter than the Marshall)

10. Unfortunately, Jessica was the first to be voted off the island, to her total shock and disbelief. (I figured I wouldn't last long on the island)

11. Unfortunately, Jessica was unable to resist the sexy power of Seductryanyca's Diamond Claw, and she died. (wow, first the Marshall, then the Duke and what gets me is the Diamond Claw!)

So many pictures!

Pizza, Dr. Pepper and Cake, need I say more? This pretty much sums up what we did last night for my birthday! We went to this new pizza place in Edmond called Jo's Famous Pizza (for you edmondites it is on Kelly between 15th and 2nd). It was fun because for plates they give you a cardboard circle! I get amused easily I guess because I really thought that was creative. Imagine the time they save on not cleaning plates and cups (and the cups were Styrofoam)! We ordered a 14" pizza thinking that we would probably have left overs, which we did. So we took them home and I had them for breakfast! Yes, I love me some cold pizza for breakfast. (shhh, I haven't told Justin I ate it for breakfast so we will just keep this between you and me) ;) I also splurged and had regular Dr. Pepper! I usually get diet, but of course they didn't have Diet Dr. Pepper, not too many places do. Then we came home and had cake (after Ian was in bed of course). I lit the candles myself just so I could pose for a picture! Ha, I am such a nerd. :)

Today was a fun day too! My friend Haley and her kiddos (minus the school age one) drove us down to see our other friend, Amberly, and her new baby girl Selah. We picked up lunch and went and hung out at her house for a while then we went on a walk (Haley had two strollers in her car so I was able to put Ian in one of them). We hung out at the park and let Jordan and Grant play while Ian and Selah slept! Such cute kids I tell you.

Hmm, it seems as if I have more to share, but for know this is it. Enjoy the pictures from the last few days!

Selah and Ian both fell asleep while we were at the park. I don't know about Amberly, but I thought it was nice to have some time to just visit and not worry about if he was happy or not!

Jordan was so good with Ian. He was just laying there playing with his hands. At one point he gave him a kiss on the hand and I tried to get a picture but it ended up snapping right when he came up. Oh well. Still cute!

I can't wait to post more about my birthday night! Justin and I went to this new pizza place here in Edmond called Jo's Famous Pizza. It was really good and we enjoyed it very much! Then we came home and fed Ian some carrots (first time for carrots). He seemed to do real good with them. Once we got him clean and in bed Justin and I had cake! It wasn't as good as I had hoped. I think it was the icing that I didn't like. I just should always go for chocolate icing. Oh well, it looked good and it wasn't bad. I am going to take it with me today to my friends house and share it with them. I will post my pictures of the bday extravaganza later. I need to finish getting ready for my outing today! (of course I will take pictures and share them with you) ;)

Mama's been busy!

I have had so much fun today! 28 years ago today (February 25, 1981) I was born! Today I have celebrated by going to my body and soul fitness class, Hobby Lobby and Target. Then when I got home I baked a cake and made chocolates to top it with (I got the idea from Bake at 350). I also finished the flash cards I have been making for Ian. He loves looking at the alphabet ones, the different colors and shapes (of course he doesn't know that he is looking at letters, or does he, he does have a genius dad!) I just now finished the ones with the pictures on them, so I will show them to him when he wakes up from his nap. Speaking of, I think I hear him crying now. Well enjoy the pictures.

Of course I have U,V,W,X,Y and Z I just couldn't fit it on the recliner. :)

How fun is that! My 'E' is a little messed up, but for my first time it isn't bad!

New blog and a week in pictures!

Let me first start out by telling you of a blog I have recently discovered. It is called Bake at 350. It is a really fun one too! You should go visit it.

Ok on to my past week. Ian and I have been pretty busy. So busy in fact that I haven't been able to post about it. So here goes, last week in pictures!

First let me start by saying how cute is my husband for giving me this cute frog for valentines day? He is so sweet!

So Justin had off last Monday because of presidents day, so I decided to make him donuts for breakfast! They were pretty yummy if I do say so myself.
Ok, so I don't have a picture of it but on Tuesday I had a root canal done. Yuck. It was not fun, but I am very glad that it is over and I can take a drink of water with out it hurting.

My friend Erin and her daughter Reagann came to visit last week! That was much needed Erin time. She lives in Texas and I miss hanging out with her.

Thursday some of the girls from church got together for lunch at Johnnies! Misti and Calvin, Me and Ian, Meg and Hunter, Tara and Adrian. Look at those boys, aren't they just cute as can be? We had a good time visiting and all the people sitting around us would comment on how we had so many baby's with us! It was fun. Oh and no we didn't plan for the three boys wearing overalls to match, I guess great minds think alike (Tara has a great mind too, but they may not make overalls in Adrians size, he is still very new born!).
