Kids being kids...

Ian informed me this morning that he was making poop out of play-doh. Oh my, how do I react to such a comment? Well I laughed. You know, poop is a big topic at our house because we cheer Ian on when he goes in the potty and even Owen when he goes in his diaper!

I have always heard that boys have trouble going number 2 in the potty, so ever since Ian was born we have encouraged him when he goes, in hopes that he wouldn't be afraid or embarrassed when it was time to start potty training.

I'm not sure if that is why he is good at going to the potty now or what, but I am finally ready to say that Ian's potty training is going great! We still have mornings where he wakes up wet, but for the most part he stays dry and dirty free!!!

So there you go, an update on how to potty train ;) Not really, I just thought it was so funny that Ian made poop out of play-doh!!  Have a great day every one!!!!

grillin' master...

We bought a grill! A gas grill. I am so excited to become a grill master! Tonight we grilled hamburgers for Justin and I, hot dogs for the boys and pineapples to put on top of our burgers! I think for my first time of using it things turned out well! I can't wait to grill some more!

Oh and I "harvested" my first strawberry tonight! I think I might be ready to sell them at a farmers market or something. ;) Just kidding, look at how small it was!!

Spring pictures...

We had the boys pictures done last weekend. Just to warn you, you may very well get overwhelmed with how cute they are! They were taken by our friend over at Life Captured By Katy. Didn't she do a great job capturing my sweet boys? If you are needing pictures done, you should for sure use her! She is great!

Being where we are meant to be...

My Random Ramblings:

Sometimes I wish I had the courage of King David. Do you think he ever laid on his couch wondering what to do...despite the fact that there was plenty to do around his kingdom? After asking myself this question, I realized that he probably did, I mean the story of David and Bathsheba comes to mind. While he wasn't lying on the couch he was walking around the house when he should have been at war with his army.

This made me think. What kind of temptations are being thrown my way all because I am not taking care of things that I, as a wife and mother, am supposed to do? My goal today is to get up off my couch and get things done around the house.

Get behind me Satan!

He has risen!!!

We had a wonderful Easter today! We got the boys all dressed up and put our cross out in the front yard. We want everyone to know that Christ has risen from the grave! He is no longer dead but alive!!!

Justin and I were scheduled to work in the pre-school area at church today so we dropped the boys off at Aunt Andrea's house and went to church then came back for lunch and an Easter egg hunt. It was fun being able to hang out with family! And meat from Oklahoma Station BBQ was good too ;)

We couldn't seem to get the boys to both look up at us, so this one will have to do!

The cousins! I am so glad they are all smiling! Such handsome boys!
