Ian and I went around "trick or treating" today! We stopped by my mom's office and then went to Norman and had lunch with the old crew from AccuHealth and then to Daddy's office. He is such a cute little pumpkin! And he has done so good today! He woke up at 5am and ate then I was back in bed by 5:30 and he didn't wake up again until 9am!! So nice of him to let me sleep. And boy did I need it. Well have a happy Halloween!!!

Have any of you heard of an infection called Thrush? Well, our little Ian has it in his mouth. The poor little guys mouth is covered with white stuff. At first I thought it was formula that was stuck to his mouth, but then yesterday my friend Misti said it could be this Thrush thing. So I called the doctor and she said to get this stuff called gentian violet, which by the way turns his mouth and lips purple. I put some on his tongue yesterday, but was nervous and didn't use much, so I put more on today and his entire mouth and lips are purple. Poor guy. This stuff stains everything so we will have to be very careful with it.
Yesterday was so fun (well the beginning of the day that is). Our church is starting a music program in January called Kindermusic (I think that is what it is called). They had a demonstration of what it will be like, it was so fun! I hope it isn't to expensive so I can take Ian. Then after the class they had a play day for kids birth to 5 years old. It was so fun to sit around with other moms who had young kids. I hope they do more things like that! Also I ran into a friend who was the accountant for AccuHealth when I worked there. Here son is 9 months old and her daughter is 4. They are so cute! We will forgive her this time for dressing him in Texas clothes.

We went to Aledo, Texas this weekend to visit my brother and his family! Although my brother had to work so we didn't see him much, but it was fun all the same. Our nieces did great with Ian. They wanted to hold him and help us with things. My sis-in law took us all around, including lunch at Fudruckers and a place called the Container store. It was awesome! We want them to come to Oklahoma!!! (the container store that is, although I love it when my fam visits OKC). Kylie had a volleyball game that we got to go to, which was fun. I miss being able to go to their sporting events and school programs. Here are a few pictures from our trip...

So the bad thing about waking up early, well besides not sleeping, is that by the afternoon I have already checked all the websites that I go to. And for the ones that don't change much it is very boring to keep looking at the same stuff. So for all of you with blogs out there that have not updated recently I beg you...PLEASE update your blog so I can read something while holding my little Ian! :)

So my friend Haley has a baby scale and she brought it Sunday to a get together that our FLOCK had. Ian weighed in at 7 pounds .08 ounces! He is getting so big! I forgot to change out the diapers in the diaper bag (I had preemie diapers in the bag and he is wearing newborn now) so the poor little guy had to squeeze into a preemie diaper for the afternoon! I felt bad, but hey I am learning!

Happy one month birthday Ian! I can't believe he is already one month old. Time has gone by so fast, before we know it he will be driving and have a favorite liquor (this is part of a line from FRIENDS by the way, true fans would make the connection). So we went to Mimi's Cafe this morning and had breakfast with my parents, which was fun. Then we got to go to Target, Best Buy and the Mall! It was so fun to go to the mall. I haven't been since at least May. We were able to find Ian some jeans that will fit him and some khaki pants that will fit him by 3 months. I tell you it is hard to find pants for newborn boys! They have tons of girl clothes, but boy baby's really get gypped. Ok, I am off to take a nap now.

Our little boy is getting so big. He is finally able to fit into 0-3 month old clothes! He also has started smiling while he is asleep (and some while he is awake, but mainly while asleep). He is doing better with bath time! The first bath he just cried the entire time, but now he enjoys it a little bit. I think that is because the first bath I was worried about getting the water too hot and so it was too cold, but now I get it warm enough for him to be able to enjoy it. Here are some cute pictures. (I am always taking pictures or having someone else take them).

Ian's typical day...Eat...Sleep...Poop (yes the last picture is his pooping face)! He is such a good boy though. He is practically sleeping through the night already! We hope this continues. It seems that if we keep him awake in the evenings then he does good during the night. We sure are blessed with a great child.

Ian got to meet his grandma and grandpa Calvarese yesterday! They came in from Florida yesterday and are here for a week. Here are some pictures that we have taken (I am sure they are just a few of the thousand that will be taken this week)! :)
Also, I go to weigh in at Weight Watchers today so you can catch my update on that on my other blog www.calvarese2.blogspot.com

So yesterday Justin took Ian and I to see my old work family! It was so much fun to see them and to let them meet Ian. I was bummed because two of them weren't there, but I get to drive soon so hopefully I will be able to go back down and see them again. I miss them, even though it was my choice to leave, it still is hard to not see them every week day and talk to them all the time. I guess that is the good thing about email! Here are some pictures of our trip...
