Formula cans out the wazoo!

Do you use formula? Do you constantly through away the cans thinking "surely there is something I can do with these"? No? Well surely I am not the only one who thinks things like this so I am going to share with you a list of things you can do with your old formula cans.

1. Crayon holder. I used a little Mod Podge and scrapbook paper and made this old formula can into our crayon holder, because you know they won't stay in the box for too long ;)

2. Grease holder. Yeah, you read right. I never know what to do with the bacon grease when I make bacon. Well I figured out the other day that old formula cans make for a great way to dispose of it! (I won't make you look at a picture of bacon grease) :)

3. Treat can. We had some friends of ours watch the boys for us while we went to a funeral. They very generously did it for free. So as a thank you I made them cookies and put them in an old formula can that I had decorated with scrapbook paper and mod podge! I don't think I took a picture of this, but it was cute! (at least I thought so)

I should mention that if you are using this for anything other than the bacon grease option you should clean it out. :)

So tell me, what would you do with an old formula can? Seeing how I have at least three more months of formula usage in my house I would love to hear your ideas!

I don't use formula, since my baby is almost 21 (LOL) but I do use coffee cans for various things. What about a bank? You can tape the plastic lid on with some duct tape, then cover the can with something pretty (like your crayon holder). Cut a slit in the top and use the can for your coins. Or even better, stuff every five-dollar bill you get in there and vow not to rip off the tape to get at the money for at least 3 months. You might be surprised how much you find when you open the can up!
