weight gain

Ok, so I have already gianed 2 pounds in the last 2 1/2 weeks. It is not becuase I am eating for two, it is because I haven't worked out and I haven't been tracking my points. Sometimes I just don't feel good enough to do it or I am just tired. Please pray that I will continue to work out and eat right so I don't gain a whole bunch of weight. My doctor said I should only gain 10-15 pounds! The low amount is because I am already overweight.

Hey, girl. Don't get discouraged, as this is still all new to you right now. The cool thing is now you have even deeper motivation to keep up with the healthy habits you have been working so hard building over the past several months. I will pray that you will begin to feel better so that you can be back on your band wagon :) In the meantime, definitely don't beat yourself up...you are doing great and will continue to do so!

Hi Jessica, this is Justin's cousin Cathy. First off, CONGRATULATIONS! I'm so excited for you both. (btw - I voted for a boy selfishly so Tyler could play transformer with him, heehee) As far as the weight thing goes, it is really hard especially when you aren't feeling that great... tired, sick, etc. Most of my pregnancy the only way I felt good was with a full stomach. Between that and the water weight I piled on, it added up to 60+ pounds I put on and it is slowly but surely coming off. Hang in there and don't beat yourself up if you gain more than you wanted to. Haha, my goal was 20 pounds weight gain. If you haven't found the site already, the site Whattoexpect.com was really helpful for me and still is. They have message boards with other women due the same time you are. It saved us a lot of phone calls to the Dr. because I could just go on there and ask others questions.
