So much to post!

Man it has been a long time since I blogged! Sorry about that. I have a lot to blog about, so I am not sure why I haven't posted anything, perhaps it is my new addiction to the game bejeweled on Facebook. :) Seriously, I have to MAKE myself not play. I want to constantly beat my high score!

Ok, but on to more serious stuff. :) Let's see so much has happened. On July 4th we got the opportunity to hang out with most of our Oklahoma family. We also go to meet Samantha, my step brother's girlfriend from New York! We had a great time hanging out with the fam and swimming then had a cook out that night! It was great fun! Then that night our two older nieces spent the night with us. I took them to the fireworks at UCO while Justin stayed at home with sleeping Ian.

Hmm, so maybe I don't have a lot post! I will try to keep up with my posting from now on.

I have the best husband in the world!

So if you have read my other blog (created in His image) then you know that I have been feeling down lately. Well my husband surprised me yesterday with the most beautiful roses! Isn't he the best husband in the world? I will answer that for you, YES he is!

zoo day!

Today Ian and I met our friends at the zoo. It was perfect weather, not too hot and a little bit of a breeze. Then after the zoo we ate lunch at On The Border! MMM! Here are a few pictures to document our time at the zoo.

Angela, Nathan and Josiah. Nathan was so cute and always wanted to open the doors for us to show us how strong he was. Then at On The Border the doors were too heavy for him to open. But he was still super cute and so well behaved!

Bangs...

I cut me some bangs this weekend. I am not sure why. In fact at this point I hate them. But they looked good on Friday when I had my hair done cute for my date with Justin! Here is a picture I took of myself last night. They aren't too cute anymore, but I guess I have to live with them until they grow out. :)

Look at this boy! He is standing so good now. I really want to get him a toy that he can push around while standing! We got this gate this weekend. I don't like it all that much but I suppose Ian is doing ok with it (in fact he is in it right now and is just playing with all of his toys). And he loves to pull up on it and stand, as you can see in this picture!

The green...

I took Ian to our church today to take some pictures of him. There is an area at our church called "the green". I thought it would be a great place to take pictures, however the sprinklers had been on so the grass was wet and Ian isn't a fan of grass anyway. So I just sat him on the cement. Then it got so hot that I decided to head home, it was only 9:20ish in the morning!!!

Facebook...

I think I have started putting so many things on Facebook that I forget to put it on my blog too! Here are some pictures from this week. Ian is now pulling up on everything he can stabilize himself on! And he is crawling like crazy! You turn your head for a second and he is gone! Um can you say gate time? :)

We got to have some time with his Aunt and Uncle on Sunday. He hasn't seen Uncle Chris since he was born!

My dad is so awesome, he works all day then he comes home to play with me.
He goes to work for so long so I can spend the day with mom.
I love him so much and I know he loves me.
He is the best in the world and God gave him to me!

(Not too bad since it was written by a 9 month old and a 28 year old non poem writer)
