...when the world falls in love.
Sorry, I love that song! It actually is not at all what this blog post is about, but just wanted to spread a little cheer. :)
So tonight I am missing my baby Christy. I know I seem to be blogging a lot about that, but honestly when things slow down it is one of the main things my mind goes to.
At church on Sunday I saw 3 strollers all lined up and it just made me really sad. I was very thankful that our friends who have a newborn asked me if I wanted to hold her. It was just want I needed, a snuggle from a little baby!
I would like to encourage those of you who know someone who has lost a baby to remember them this time of year. Give them hugs, calls or even special gifts in honor or in memory of their baby who is now with the LORD. For me it meant a lot when my friend gave me a Christmas ornament that represented our sweet baby who is now with the LORD. Her inspiration was this Bible verse, Psalm 91:4 (NLT) "He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection." The ornament was filled with feathers and had a little heart in it to represent our baby Christy. It meant so much to me. I have the ornament hanging with the boys stockings. I think that will be where it hangs every Christmas!
Merry Christmas all!
